Definition of Mini Car Freezer

The refrigeration process starts with the generator, which is a container containing dissolved ammonia. The burner heats the generator until it reaches the boiling point of ammonia. Since the boiling temperature of ammonia is lower than that of water, ammonia will leave the generator and float into the condenser. In the condenser, the ammonia begins to cool and eventually forms liquid ammonia, which now contains no water.
Ammonia flows down from the condenser into a hydrogen-filled chamber called the evaporator. In this low-pressure chamber, ammonia expands while rapidly cooling. It is the evaporator that produces the cooling effect of the refrigerator. The fan blows on the evaporator and cools when the air blows. This cold air circulates in the Mini Car Freezer.

A device called an absorber flows the water droplets through the evaporator. Ammonia is easily soluble in water, but hydrogen is insoluble in water. The water drips with the dissolved ammonia and flows back to the generator, restarting the cycle.
